The presence of religion in the media

The Church of Greece, through its communication service, edits 2 monthly publications: EFIMEROS, a specialised magazine geared at members of the clergy, and EKKLESIA which is directed at a more general audience. The local churches, including the Church of Athens (the monthly “TOLMI”) also publish their own magazines.
Some of these publications can be accessed on the Church of Greece’s website.
In the audiovisual department, the Church of Greece (as well as other local churches in Greece) has their own radio station Ecclesia Radio Live, which broadcasts 24 hours a day. The Churches of Thessaloniki and Patras also have a television station.
The religious minorities in Greece also publish their own works, including the magazine CHRONIKA of the Central Bureau of the Jewish Communities of Greece (KIS).
