Religious situation – comparative data
According to the Pew Research 2015-2017 data and based on the composite index of four indicators (importance of religion, worship attendance, frequency of prayer, belief in God), Croatia was at the 7th place in Europe: according to these indicators, 44% of adults were considered highly religious. Romania was at the 1st place (55% of highly religious), and Estonia at the last, 34th place, with only 7% of highly religious persons.
