"According to the 2021 Census data, the religious diversity of the population is increasing. However, in terms of the distribution by attribution to a religious community, no substantial changes were recorded. 74 percent of the population identifies with the Roman Catholic community. Over a decade, the change has not been substantial. In 2011, 77 percent of the population identified with the Roman Catholic community. 4 percent of the population claim to belong to the Orthodox community, while the other religious communities do not exceed 1 percent. 6 percent of the population do not identify themselves with any religion, 14 percent did not indicate their religion. New religious communities were recorded : Deists, Gaudiya Vaishnavism, Witches, Rastafarians, Theosophists" (Statistics Lithuania).
