Law of religion

Law of Religion is taught as an obligatory subject with optional extensions at theological faculties and as an optional subject at law faculties – sometimes offered within an elective field of studies. While some universities established specialised institutes or sections – such as in:

 Linz
 Salzburg
 Vienne

Other universities integrate this discipline into the public law institutes, like the University of Innsbruck.

Since July 2021, the academic staff of the Institute for Canon Law and Religious Law runs the blog "Law and Religion".
