Religious situation: according to the Serbian Constitution, no state or compulsory religion exists, and all churches and religious communities are separated from the state. Serbs are predominantly Orthodox (84.59%), and the Serbian Orthodox Church is the largest and most visible to the public. According to the 2011 Census, there were 84.59% Orthodox, 4,97% Catholics, 3.10% Muslims, 0.99% Protestants, 1.11% atheists.
